Join us for the 50 and Better Health Fair at Des Moines University Clinic.
If you’re 50 or older, this free health fair is for you. We’ve got you covered with screenings, education and wellness resources — all in one place.
- Free Screenings: Balance, foot, skin, vision and more
- Health Education: Alzheimer’s, breast health, sleep practices and more
- On-the-Spot Treatments: Try osteopathic manual medicine
- Expert Advice: Learn how to prevent injury, stay active and age well

Back-to-School Physicals
Every child deserves a healthy start to the school year. Begin the school year strong with a free physical at Des Moines University Clinic. Our licensed clinicians and student providers offer convenient checkups to help kids head back to class healthy and ready to learn.
The event includes:
- General physical exam
- Vitals and vision checks
- Sports physicals
- Immunization review (bring your records)
- Parent questions welcome
- Interpreters and interpretation services available

Who: Kids entering K-12; no insurance or appointment needed
All participants will receive a free backpack.
